About Me
Hi, I'm Sara, and I come from Verona, Italy.
I have an artistic and sensitive soul — one that has grown and evolved over the years.
I have long struggled to accept the injustices I see in the world, and I have felt the need to do my part in fighting against them. Strong values and principles have guided the way I see and experience the world. I constantly feel the need to express them through some form of creation.
Like many people, though, I was encouraged to follow a more conventional path, so I did. My growing passion for environmental protection led me to complete a Master's degree in Environmental Resource Management, hoping that this would be my way of making a difference. But after graduating, I realized something wasn't quite right. I deeply cared about the issues I had studied, yet I still hadn't found the way I truly wanted to contribute.

For years, I travelled, lived, and worked around the world, constantly searching for where I truly belonged. Looking back, I think I already knew the answer — I just needed time to understand it.
Africa changed me forever.
Its landscapes, wildlife, and extraordinary people completely reshaped the way I see the world. But I also witnessed something impossible to ignore: the environmental and social consequences of overconsumption, textile waste, and a system that too often shifts problems elsewhere instead of truly addressing them.

Somewhere along that journey, I discovered sewing.
Not in a fashion school, but in small workshops across Africa and Asia, learning from local artisans who had mastered their craft through years of patience and dedication. They taught me much more than how to sew. They taught me to slow down, to observe, and to respect both materials and the time it takes to transform them.

Today, everything I have experienced has become part of this project. A Conscious Brand is where my creativity finally found its connection with my environmental values.
Every piece I create begins with discarded materials, but my goal goes beyond giving old jeans a second life. I want my work to spark conversations. I want the people who wear my pieces to express something about what they believe in.
Because I don't believe clothing should only reflect our style. It can also reflect our values.
